Dr Nina Bing Liu - Chinese Doctor/Acupuncturist
Dr Nina Bing Liu (Lic. Ac. Liaoning TCMCI) is a Chinese doctor and experienced acupuncturist registered with the Acupuncture Council of Ireland (TCMCI). Dr Liu graduated in 2001 with a Bachelors Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Liaoning University of TCM in Shenyang, China. She worked as an intern at Liaoning Hospital of TCM in the cardiology department and attained her doctor’s license the same year. In 2002, she moved to Ireland and has practiced here since while continuing her studies in China.
In 2004, Dr Liu returned to China to complete her Masters in Gynaecology & TCM completing her thesis on the treatment of Infertility. She travels back to China regularly and keeps up to date with emerging developments in Chinese Medicine. Her area of expertise is women's health, specifically Infertility and IVF/IUI support and works closely with medical consultants in this area, in particular SIMs Clinic in Dublin.
Ciara Clissmann - Managing Owner, AcuPlus
Ciara Clissmann (Lic. Ac. C Nangjing TCMCI) is Practice Manager at AcuPlus. She is also a licensed acupuncturist (non practicing) registered with the Acupuncture Council of Ireland (TCMCI). Ciara completed her Diploma in Acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland (AFI) Dublin in 2005 after which she worked as an intern at University Hospital Nanjing, Jiangsu Provence, China.
On returning to Dublin in 2006, she set up her own private practice as well as working at the Fitzwilliam Health Centre, Fitzwilliam Place and Femplus Private Women’s Gynaecology Clinic, Blanchardstown. In 2008, she went on to work as a Business Development Manager in the Healthcare sector. She returned to the world of Chinese medicine to set up AcuPlus with Dr Liu in early 2015.
